- Abstract
The article discusses the lack in evidence for work stress as a risk factor for developing coronary heart disease (CHD). It was found that assessment of work stress together with predetermined standard instrument can reduce the risk of errors. Also, in the context of the Mendelian randomization and gene x environment interaction framework, genetic data can be used to lessen confounding and bias, and also explain the mechanisms of the association between work stress and CHD.
