- Abstract
The article focuses on a reviews of study on the association of hypocupremia with cytopenia and myelopathy. It mentions the importance of copper in a number of enzymes, critical to vascular, skeletal and neurological functions. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) studies show atrophy in the cerebellum and cerebrum. Results suggest that copper deficiency is not well-known as cause of cytopenia.
