- Abstract
The article discusses a research study which found that Wistar rats bearing 9L glioma cells are not suitable for immunotherapy. Results of bioluminescence imaging showed intracranial tumor regression in Wistar rats compared to tumor growth in Fischer 344 rats. The study investigated survival after intracranial tumor implantation and presented histological characterization of tumors in glioma-bearing rats. It also looked into the cellular and humoral immune response of Wistar and Fischer rats.
