- Abstract
The article discusses research which investigated the prevalence of idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus (iNPH) in patients with hip fractures. The study compared three major symptoms of iNPH, demographic data and risk factors in patients suspected of having iNPH and those who were not. It evaluated radiological characteristics of iNPH using Evans' index (EI), disproportionately enlarged subarachnoid-space hydrocephalus (DESH) and callosal angle (CA).
