- Abstract
The article discusses the clinical trials which have shown that angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEi) can effectively reduce albuminuria in patients with sickle cell anaemia. Also discussed is the study whih indicates that low urinary levels of angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 may contribute to albuminuria in children with sickle cell anaemia.
