- Abstract
The article presents a study on the use of mancala games and their suitability to players with visual impairments. Mancala games, which are played throughout Asia, Middle East, Africa, and Caribbean, use end holes as part of the game and two rows of holes. The strategy and objective of the game, which is to collect as many counters as possible in one's end hole, are discussed. It reports that the level of playing field in mancala games is fair for those who are sighted and visually impaired. It also states that mancala is suited for people with visual impairments.
