- Title
Finding a role for Durkheim in Contemporary Moral Theory.
- Authors
Cunningham, Craig A.
- Abstract
An essay is presented which presents the significance of the works of sociologist Emile Durkheim, in contemporary moral education theory. Referring to a previous article that tries to revive the significance of Durkheim's work in current times, the author ponders over the question as to how Durkeim's work is different from that of other scholars like John Dewey and Aristotle, since the concept of moral education has been treated or less in the same way by all of them.
