- Authors

- Abstract
This article discusses the photosynthetic adaptability of crops under environmental change. It highlights the challenges faced by photosynthetic microorganisms and higher plants due to biotic and abiotic factors, such as water deficiency, drought, flooding, cold, heat, ozone, UV radiation, nutrient deficiency/excess, and viral infection. The article presents studies on the effects of low temperatures on strawberry crops and the use of biomarkers for drought tolerance in Eucalyptus plants. It also explores the combined effects of stressors, such as cadmium toxicity and drought stress, on maize crops, as well as the use of horticultural oil to control grape powdery mildew. The article emphasizes the importance of understanding adaptive mechanisms in plants to maintain photosynthetic efficiency and suggests the need for environmentally friendly methods to reduce the effects of stressors in the future.
