- Abstract
The article discusses investigations into measles outbreaks comprising 13 confirmed cases in Utah in March-June 2011, which suggested importation of the disease. The first outbreak was found to be associated with an unvaccinated U.S. resident who traveled overseas. The importance of being updated with measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccination particularly before international travel is also addressed.
