- Abstract
The article investigates the grammatical and syntactical meaning of the New Testament passage of Revelation 1:7. Subjects addressed include the assertions of Revelation 1:7 adapted from Daniel 7:13 and Zechariah 12: 9-14, the passages that reflect the preoccupation of John with Christ's death, and similarities between Jesus Christ and other intermediaries between the gods and humans.
