- Abstract
The article offers author's opinion on the use of herbal medicines. The author believes that compounding of chemically organized medicines by the interaction of St John's Wort (SJW) could culminate in organ rejection. As stated, the interaction with herbs segue into interactions between fruits, fruit juices, and drugs, with grapefruit juice (GFJ) interactions featuring new devices of drug absorption and incomplete bioavailability. Thus, several studies are also presented to support the point.
