- Abstract
An essay on Professor Philip P. Frickey's treatment of the canons of construction is presented. It discusses two wide-ranging themes which appeared from the discussion and analysis in several articles written by Frickey, a former law professor at the University of California, Berkeley. It also presents two groups of observations that concentrate on how the canons vary from legislative history and agency regulation.
