- Abstract
The article presents a study that examines a new transgenic technique known as pronuclear injection-based targeted transgenesis (PITT). It outlines the method of the study that modifies PITT and improves the donor vector by introducing FLPe expression casette. It also details the generation of fertilized eggs using epididymal spermatozoa isolated from a single male carrying the targeted allele. It outlines the result of the study which indicates the efficiency of PITT and the successful creation of the allele in the recombinasemediated cassette exchange (RMCE).
