- Abstract

Topics mentioned include misconceptions involved in altruistic caring such as heavy demands of self-sacrifice on the nurse, an overview of a study conducted in Belgium which showed that nurses in complex working environments prioritize medical interventions rather than establishing caring relationships, and developments in care ethics over the past 30 years.
