- Abstract
The article presents a case study of 50-year-old woman, who had a history of acute rheumatic fever and was referred to Hacettepe University Cardiology Department in Ankara, Turkey, for echocardiographic examination. The study diagnosed Cor triatriatum sinistrum, a rare congenital cardiac anomaly in adulthood, through transesophageal echocardiography. It was concluded that cor triatriatum was shown in a patient with mitral stenosis.
