- Abstract
This article discusses the life and legal troubles of Mike Lynch, a British technology entrepreneur and co-founder of Autonomy and Darktrace. Lynch was recently acquitted of fraud and conspiracy charges related to Hewlett-Packard's acquisition of Autonomy. Despite his legal battles, Lynch remained active in the tech industry and founded Invoke Capital, which became a major investor in Darktrace. The article also explores the extensive connections between Darktrace and the intelligence community, as well as the company's controversial financial practices. Darktrace was recently purchased by US private equity firm Thoma Bravo for $5.32 billion.
