- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 72-year-old woman who complained of poor wound healing following extraction of her right mandibular teeth. The patient reported prolonged right buccal swelling and a 3-month history of pain after extraction. She was diagnosed with bisphosphonate-related osteonecrosis of the jaw and treated with bone morphogenetic protein-2 and platelet-rich fibrin.
