- Title
ROADSIDE SPEED-CAMERAS: ARGUMENTS FOR COVERT SITING.
- Authors
Reinhardt-Rutland, A. H.
- Abstract
This article focuses on covert speed-cameras and its benefits to motorists. Motorists complain that covert cameras are not primarily concerned with motorists driving safer but rather with raising finance from fines. With covert speed-cameras, motorists generally learn to drive carefully and at slower rates. Overt siting of speed-cameras will only reduce its effectiveness to encourage motorists to drive carefully.
