- Abstract
The article describes the synthesis and photothermal properties of ultrasmall black phosphorus quantum dots (BPQDs). It displays an excellent NIR photothermal performance and biocompatibility. The ultrasmall BPQDs obtained by centrifugation were dispersed in water, and PEG was conjugated to enhance their stability in physiological medium. The results show stability of the BPQDs in physiological medium is enhanced by surface modification with PEG..
