Crystallization processes of SrTiO films prepared by PVP-modified sol-gel method.

- Abstract
Crystallization processes of sol-gel derived SrTiO films have been investigated systematically. The crystallization processes included two stages, firstly, the coordination of the cations changed from the carboxylate groups to the carbonate groups; secondly, the resulting pervskite SrTiO was crystallized by the decomposition of the carbonate groups. The intermediate with carbonate groups has also been observed in the SrTiO films annealed at 500 °C by the Raman peak shift near 1071 cm. The stoichiometry of the intermediate, close to SrTiOCO, has been further confirmed by the TG-DSC and XPS results.
