- Abstract
The article studies x-ray, scanning electron microscopy and magnetic properties of amorphous Fe60Nb40 alloy. Amorphous alloys play an important role both from basic research and application point of view. Among various methods available for making the amorphous alloy, solid state amorphization is the most important and has become an alternative route to rapid solidification process. The study revealed that the magnetic properties are enhanced due to annealing during the measurement process. This annealing during the measurement enhances the formation of ferromagnetic clusters in the paramagnetic host.
