- Title
BEDDOES WORDS FOR OED FROM TEXTS SUPPLEMENTARY TO THE KELSALL CORPUS.
- Authors
Crossan, Greg
- Abstract
The article informs that in the third edition of the corpus of works by Thomas Lovell Beddoes assembled by Thomas Forbes Kelsall, the author note submits a final crop of Beddoes words, this time from texts (in English; there are a few more in German) supplementary to that Kelsall corpus, texts which Kelsall either chose to exclude as marginal, or did not have access to at the time. The first grouping, then, is of the fourteen poems (one long and thirteen short) published in 1821 under the title "The Improvisatore, in Three Fyttes, With Other Poems" (Oxford: J. Vincent).
