- Abstract
This article presents information related to abstracts published in the August 2001 issue of "European Spine Journal." "Surgical Decompression of Lumbar Conjoined Nerve Roots," discusses that the presence of a conjoined nerve root demands a more challenging surgical approach as demonstrated by a higher percentage of fair outcomes and the need for a more extensive decompressive procedures. The presence of a conjoined nerve roots often resulted in atypical clinical presentations, with patterns of radiculopathy different from those expected based on the level of disc herniation.
