- Abstract
A coleta do condensado do exalado respiratório (CER) é uma técnica de diagnóstico para doenças respiratórias não invasiva. A amostra do CER é obtida a partir do ar exalado que condensa ao entrar em contato com a superfície fria do equipamento coletor, onde é possível analisar diversos biomarcadores. Este resumo tem como objetivo apresentar a avaliação do método de antissepsia das narinas com o menor grau de contaminação das amostras obtidas. Foram utilizadas 15 éguas SRD entre 4 e 20 anos de idade, pertencentes ao plantel da Fazenda Experimental Gralha Azul (FEGA), da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná. A forma de antissepsia das narinas foi realizada de três maneiras diferentes: água e sabão (Grupo AS), solução salina 0,9% (Grupo NaCl) e sem assepsia (Grupo Controle - C). Cada égua passou por todos os métodos de limpeza, com a finalidade de definir a melhor forma de antissepsia, visando menor contaminação das amostras. Foram friccionadas três gazes contendo cada solução apresentada e todas as éguas passaram por todos os métodos de coleta. As amostras obtidas foram enviadas ao Laboratório Paddocktiba (Curitiba, Brasil) para realização da cultura e identificação de bactérias. As amostras foram plaqueadas nos meios de Ágar sangue e Ágar Macconkey e foi feita a contagem das colônias em cada placa. A identificação das bactérias ocorreu através de testes bioquímicos, sendo eles catalase, oxidase, Sistema Bactray (Laborclin, Paraná, Brasil), e a lâmina foi analisada e corada com kit Gram (Laborclin, Paraná, Brasil). Observou-se a presença de diversas bactérias relacionadas com diferentes tecidos, podendo ser pele, urina ou flora intestinal, as quais foram identificadas e separadas em grupos para análise da frequência em cada um dos grupos de antissepsia. As bactérias identificadas foram: Acinetobacter baumannii, E. coli, Klebsiella ornithinolytica, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Microscoccus spp., Proteus mirabilis, Proteus vulgaris, Streptococcus B hemolítico e Staphylococcus aureus e NPC. Ao analisar os resultados, constatou-se que as mesmas bactérias aparecem independentemente da forma de limpeza, não havendo diferenças significativas entre os três grupos. Por conta disso, interpreta-se que os microrganismos não fazem parte de contaminação por sujidades na narina e, sim, que se encontram nas vias aéreas. Optou-se em continuar as seguintes etapas do projeto com o método do Grupo C, sem antissepsia, já que esta não se mostrou necessária de acordo com os resultados obtidos.
