- Abstract
It aims to map scientific evidence on the quality of life of elderly people in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Method: This is a scoping review protocol (registration in the Open Science Framework: https://osf.io/n95wy), based on the Joanna Briggs Institute (IJB) methodology, guided by the review question elaborated by the abbreviation PCC : How did the COVID-19 pandemic (context) affect the quality of life (concept) of elderly people (population)? The databases used were through the CAPES journal portal (via access to the Federal University of Goiás/UFG) and the Virtual Health Library (VHL). The searches were carried out by independent reviewers who analyzed and selected the studies, using exclusion and inclusion criteria, in addition to using the descriptor combination strategy: COVID AND quality of life AND aged; COVID AND quality of life AND elderly; COVID AND quality of life AND older adults; COVID AND quality of life AND elder. The extracted data will be analyzed according to a form and organized in Microsoft Word. The results will be presented in table and narrative format, aiming to achieve the objective and question of the review
