- Abstract
The Southwestern Tablelands Ecoregion in the United States occurs in portions of five states: Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. There are 25 species found here, representing 11 genera and three families (Acanthodrilidae, Lumbricidae and Sparganophilidae). Twelve of the species are native (endemic) to North America, all others are European (exotic) or Pantropical introductions. A description of the ecoregion and six colour photographs are also included.
