- Abstract
The article describes the effects of dune stabilization on the plant diversity of interdune wetlands in Northeastern Inner Mongolia, China. Studies were done on the change in species richness in both active and stabilized dunes. The study concluded that in some areas, species richness was raised while on the other, it led to loss of endemic or rare pioneer species in interdune wetlands.
