Freedom of movement.
- Authors
Simonsen, Richard J.
- Abstract
The article presents the author's opinion on the system of granting licensure to dental practitioners in the U.S. He considers that freedom of movement must be given to the practitioners, which has otherwise been hampered by the individual state board examination. It arised out of the provision in the U.S. Constitution providing licensure of dental profession to individual states. He further questions the integrity of these tests, as to whether they serve the purpose of talent selection.
