- Abstract
Past history of any pregnancy associates with a reduction in I Lactobacillus i dominance but a previous term pregnancy has the greatest effect. Here we study the effect of pregnancy history on the microbiome in 83 women who were sampled across two sequential pregnancies. The vaginal microbiota in healthy pregnancy is characterised by stable Lactobacillus-dominance.
