- Abstract
The article highlights three cases on the long-term follow-up of three identical twin transplant recipients without maintenance immunosuppressive therapy. It discusses the controversy on whether immunosuppression is needed to prevent the recurrence of glomerulonephritis. The results of the cases confirmed that for patients who had glomerulonephritis before transplantation, the transplanted kidney becomes involved with the original disease.
