- Abstract
An editorial is presented on the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) call to inaction on blood pressure screening in children and adolescents. The article discusses that the USPSTF statement is also based on insufficient evidence that BP screening in childhood decreases cardiovascular disease (CVD) in adulthood; and this statement was intended to update the previous USPSTF statement on blood pressure (BP) screening in children published in 2013.
