- Authors
Fuller, Kisti P.; Borgida, Adam F.
- Abstract
The article discusses a study which proposes a one-step screening method for gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) in pregnancy based on criteria from the International Association of the Diabetes and Pregnancy Study Groups. Topics include the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists' two-step GDM screening test, the hypothesis that the one-step method would improve neonatal outcomes and a comparison of the two GDM tests based on maternal characteristics and delivery outcomes.
