- Authors
Burn, Stephen J.
- Abstract
Presents an interview with American novelist Richard Powers. When asked whether his books covers are an integral part of the narratives it contains, he responds that he finds visualization as a focusing exercise that provides an emotional signature of the work he writes. He thinks that all of his books contain some kind of metafictional element to them. He points out his awareness of that in his novels were filled with literary intertexts.
