- Abstract
This research aims to know the relationship among body appearance self-concept and the perceived intensity and enjoyment of the activities practices during Physical Education lessons. In order to that, a total of 153 secondary students whose ages vary from 12 to 16 years old have filled in diverse questionnaires. According to the reached results after the study development, the elder students and those from higher grades are more satisfied with their body image but they perceive their Physical Education lessons are more boring and intense. Boys, although they are more insatisfied with their image than girls, have more fun in Physical Education lessons. Moreover, it has been also found that, as well as the perceived intensity of Physical Education lessons increases, their enjoyment decreases and the level of satisfaction with their own body image increases.
