- Abstract
An editorial is presented on enhancing central leptin sensitivity contributes to the beneficial effects of RYGB on body weight status and glycemic control. Topics include combating overweight and obesity as a global public health issue and preventing the impact on other debilitating cardiovascular, metabolic, and renal diseases; and having anorexia nervosa and lipodystrophy to morbid and severe overweight and obesity.
