- Title
THE DOCTOR'S DILEMMA: HEALTHCARE REFORM AND INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE.
- Authors
Riley, David
- Abstract
The author reflects on the condition of the U.S. healthcare system in 2009 and what role can integrative medicine play as the recession deepens and unemployment rises. He poses a question on the type of healthcare reform desired by the U.S. He asserts that there are other examples of how an integrative approach can improve health and well-being like diets, yoga and meditation. He stresses the need for integrative medicine to become a foundation for creating optimal health and healing.
