- Abstract
The article focuses on the Seth-Animal which is believed as the earliest gods in Egypt that brings chaos and war. It mentions that the Seth-animal is said to believe by many Egyptologists that it is not a real creature due to its unique features such as an erect tail and an erect squared-off ears. It states that the hunting state of the Seth-animal enables its tail and ears to have an erect status rather than in resting. It discusses that there is a tendency that the Seth-animal and the god originated in a foreign land since the origin of the animal as saluki hunting dog is lost during in early history of the country. It also notes the material goods that serve as an indication to a foreign contact.
