- Abstract
The authors discuss an article regarding a new tool designed to measure the experience of family members with end-of-life care in the intensive care unit (ICU). They explore the findings on the important implications of care provided in the ICU for patients and their families for the mental health of family members. The mention the use of CAESAR as an important tool that will advance the measurement of family experience with end-of-life care in the ICU.
