- Abstract
The article discusses the issues on criminal matters and constitutional jurisprudence in the last term of the Supreme Court in October 2009 in the U.S. It addresses the topics on the constitutional rights of criminal defendants, fair trials, cruel punishment, and ethical lawyering. It highlights the court decisions of the following cases of Skilling v. United States, Padilla v. Kentucky, Graham v. Florida, and Holland v. Florida in relation to the issues of constitutional jurisprudence.
