- Abstract
The article focuses on the December 2, 2002 memorandum and addresses some of the key issues raised by the memorandum. It discusses the true circumstances in which it was prepared and the real role of the senior lawyers in the George W. Bush Administration. It highlights the true nature and degree of their responsibility for the abuse that followed. Furthermore, it is stated that lawyers are guardians of legality in systems of government and their actions are analogous to those associated with the defendant lawyers.
