- Abstract
The article presents information on a study which compares the effects and costs of three different modes of survey administration in a national survey of doctors in Australia. It aims at improving response rates and minimizing survey response bias and item non-response. It used a random sample of 4.9% of doctors undertaking clinical practice from a national directory.
