The article presents information on U.S. folk music along with contributions from original U.S. musicians namely Pete Seeger and Bruce Springsteen. Folk music, known to be invented in the middle of the 19th century by peasants, involves a fluid interchange between words and music. The two artists face the challenge of achieving the American dream by relaying stories of fascinating characters through their music.
