- Abstract
The article focuses on the concept of bureaucratic authorization program under the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Modernization and Reform Act of 2012 for integration of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) in the U.S. FAA oversees the lack of initiative to impose the specific privacy restrictions over UAS operations to federal, state and local entities by imposing rules and regulations. An overview of the research program by FAA is also presented.
