- Abstract
The article reports on the inactivation and environmental stability of the Zika virus. It says that the Zika virus is a growing virus that has spread to most countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. It adds that it is transmitted by mosquitoes and via sexual intercourse. It mentions that most people infected with the Zika virus are asymptomatic or experience mild symptoms.
