- Abstract
The article presents a study which described immunoprecipitation-mass spectrometry (IP-MS) as a detection method for anti-eukaryotic initiation factor 2B (eIF2B) autoantibodies and characterized the precipitation pattern of the eIF2B complex as precipitated by anti-eIF2B sera. Topics include identification of individuals whose sera immunoprecipitated multiple subunits of the eIF2B complex, clinical features of the identified patients, and observations on identified anti-eIF2B-positive cases.
