- Abstract
In this article, the author discusses the early childhood adversity which is related to poverty, trauma and parental psychiatric disorders which has effects on mental and physical health of children. It is mentioned that the family adversity's impact can be reversed or controlled on child health outcomes if it is detected early. Role of physicians for advocating the social policies for helping the families is also discussed.
