- Abstract
The article discusses the case of a 62-year-old female diagnosed with carcinoid tumor associated with acute sensorimotor polyneuropathy (PNP) while exhibiting symptoms similar to Guillain-Barre syndrome. Topics covered include the patient presenting with hypokinesia, pain and weakness in the lower and upper extremities, the identification of paraneoplastic PNP following tumor resection, and the etiology of acute sensorimotor polyneuropathies.
