- Abstract
The article discusses a study on drug resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis in patients having multi drug resistant pulmonary tuberculosis. The methods, results and discussions are presented which include the decontamination of sputum with N-acetyl-Lcysteine-sodium hydroxide. It is concluded that pulmonary cavities play an important role in the worsening of Tuberculosis drug resistance.
