- Authors
Kornegay, Van
- Abstract
The article focuses on research in graphics field experience. The study of informational graphics belongs in the journalism classroom. Their growing use reflects industry trends that should be evaluated, and the classroom provides an opportunity to develop and test theories about how they influence the reader and the journalist. Free from many of the pressures and constraints of the newsroom, instructors can help students focus on how reporting graphic information can influence their writing and reporting, and the informational content of their work.
