- Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To describe the clinical-pathological characteristics of facial granuloma, a little frequent disease. MATERIAL AND METHOD: A retrospective observational study, carried out from January 1989 to December 2018 in the Dermatopathology service of the Dermatological Center Dr. Ladislao de la Pascua in Mexico City. All patients with histological diagnosis of facial granuloma were identified. RESULTS: Twelve patients with histological diagnosis of facial granuloma were identi- fied; 58% corresponded to the female gender. The average age was 47.66 years (limits: 34 and 61). In all cases, the topography was on the face, 9 patients (83.3%) with localization on the cheeks and 7 on the nose (58.3%). CONCLUSIONS: We found that this disease is little frequent in our Hospital, which agrees to that published in literature.
